Trailer for Kevin Hart's Lift is out

Netflix dropped the trailer for the comedy-thriller Lift. The upcoming film, helmed by Gary Gray, will premiere on the streamer on January 12, 2024. Lift, headlined by Kevin Hart, also stars Úrsula Corberó, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D’Onofrio, Billy Magnussen, Jacob Batalon, Jean Reno and Sam Worthington in prominent roles. 

Netflix's official description of the film read, "An international heist crew, led by Cyrus Whitaker (Kevin Hart), race to lift $500 million in gold from a passenger plane at 40,000 feet."

Written by Dan Kunka, Lift is produced by Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon for Genre Pictures, Matt Reeves and Adam Kassan for 6th & Idaho, and Hart and Brian Smiley for HartBeat Productions.

Kevin Hart was last seen in Netflix's Me Time. Apart from Lift, he has Back on the Strip and Borderlands in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Gray is coming off Straight Outta ComptonThe Fate of the Furious and Men in Black: International. He will next direct the action film Muscle with Vin Diesel.
