Gabriel Basso, who is best known for Netflix's action thriller series The Night Agent, is in talks to join the cast of veteran actor-director Clint Eastwood's final directorial Juror #2. previously announced cast members include Nicholas Hoult, Toni Collette, Zoey Deutch and Kiefer Sutherland.

Hails from Warner Bros., the film has a script written by Jonathan Abrams. Clint Eastwood also serves as the producer of the pic along with Tim Moore, Jessica Meier, Adam Goodman and Matt Skiena.  

Juror #2 follows the story of Justin Kemp, a family man who is serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial. He faces a difficult moral decision that could impact the verdict and potentially convict or free the wrong person. Basso is in talks to play the man in the trial, while Nicolas Nicholas Hoult boarded to play the juror and reportedly, Toni Collette will essay the role of the prosecutor. 
 
Gabriel Basso has received a broad reception for his portrayal as an FBI agent in The Night Agent. The show was an instant success leading to being one of Netflix's most-watched shows, now ranking No. 5 on the streamer's list of most popular English-language series ever. The actor's other popular credits include Hillbilly Elegy (2020), The Whole Truth (2016) and Ithaca (2015), among others.
