Actors Jonathan Pryce, Meera Syal, Toby Jones are set to feature in the upcoming drama directed by Bharat Nalluri. The film, titled Flavia de Luce, is billed as family adventure drama.

Apart from the said actors, the film will also star Isla Gie and Martin Freeman. It is an adaptation of the New York Times bestselling novel The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie: A Flavia de Luce Mystery. 

Flavia de Luce will follow the adventures of 11-year old Flavia de Luce, an amateur detective and master poisoner. However, when she finds a dead body at her family manor and the primary accused is her father, she goes lengths to prove him innocent.

Andhra Pradesh-born British director Bharat Nalluri, has previously helmed The Man Who Invented Christmas and Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day. Alan Bradley's novel, on which the film is based, is the first in a series of 10 Flavia de Luce mysteries.
