Ginny & Georgia renewed for two consecutive seasons

Netflix's comedy-drama series Ginny & Georgia has been renewed for a third and fourth season. Created by Sarah Lampert, the first season of the series premiered on Netflix on n February 24, 2021. 

Starring Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey in the titular roles, Ginny and Georgia tells the tale of Ginny Miller, an angst and awkward teenager who often feels more mature than her 30-year-old mother, Georgia Miller. After the death of Georgia's husband, the family, including the youngest son, Austin, shifts to a fictional affluent town in New England. As the plot progress, it comes to light that Georgia murdered her husband, who is Ginny's stepfather, to protect Ginny.

The series's second season premiered on January 5, 2023, and opened to mixed reception. The CE review of the series read, "Diverting away from the mother-daughter relationship, the series fails to stand up to its name."

Besides Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey, Ginny and Georgia feature an ensemble cast including Jennifer Robertson, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Chelsea Clark and Katie Douglas.
