Brian Cox and Jennifer Coolidge to star in crime comedy Riff Raff

Oscar-winning actor Dustin Hoffman, and Gabrielle Union will also be appearing alongside the two actors

Jennifer Coolidge and Brian Cox, both Emmy Winners, are all set to appear in a new crime comedy film Riff Raff. Oscar-winning actor Dustin Hoffman, and Gabrielle Union will also be appearing alongside the two actors. 

While the makers are yet to reveal more details about the plot, the official logline of Riff Raff is, "It will focus on a former criminal’s ordinary life which is thrown upside down when his old family shows up for a long-awaited reckoning." 

The roles assigned to each of the four actors are kept under wraps by the makers. Production on the film is slated to begin in September 2023. Directed by Dito Montiel, the script of Riff Raff is written by John Pollano. 

Noah Rothman, Marc Goldberg and Sarah Gabriel will produce Riff Raff for Canopy Media Partners and Signature Films. Executive producers include Coolidge, Cox, Pollono, Mathew Lesher, Tiffany Kuzon, Adam Paulsen, Chris Dennis for Canopy, and Christian Mercuri for Capstone.
