Zoe Kravitz and Thomasin McKenzie have reportedly joined the cast of the upcoming psychological horror film Self-Portrait. Kravitz was last seen in Matt Reeve’s The Batman while McKenzie is best known for appearing in Taika Waititi’s Jojo Rabbit.

The film is being helmed by Mona Fastvold, who last directed The World to Come in 2020. She has co-written the script for the film along with Brady Corbet. The film revolves around two painters who are hunted down by a demonic entity.

Sel-Portrait is based on Rachel Lyon’s novel of the same name. With the production scheduled to release by the end of this year, the makers are planning to take the film to the Cannes film festival.

Meanwhile, Kravitz will be making her directorial debut with a film titled Pussy Island, which she co-wrote with EF Feigenbaum. The film wrapped up recently and stars Channing Tatum and Namoni Ackie.
