Good Omens S2 gets premiere date 

The series will consist of six episodes

The second season of fantasy comedy series Good Omens, will premiere on Prime Video on July 28.

Based on Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's international bestselling novel Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, the British series will consist of six episodes. The series will feature Michael Sheen and David Tennant.

As per the streaming platform, the second season will go beyond the source material to show the friendship of angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley.

"Having been on Earth since The Beginning, and with the Apocalypse thwarted, Aziraphale and Crowley are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London's Soho when an unexpected messenger presents a surprising mystery," reads the synopsis.

Others part of the cast include Jon Hamm, Doon Mackichan, and Gloria Obianyo. New members of the series include Miranda Richardson, Maggie Service, and Nina Sosanya, among others. Neil Gaiman will serve as executive producer and co-show runner along with executive producer Douglas Mackinnon, who also returns to direct all the episodes.

The series is backed by Amazon Studios, BBC Studios Productions, The Blank Corporation, and Narrativia.
