Alison Oliver, Jurnee Smollett, Marc Maron and Odessa Young have joined the cast of the upcoming crime thriller from AGC Studios, The Order. The film will be directed by Justin Kurzel and is heading into production on Wednesday.

Jude Law, Nicholas Hoult and Tye Sheridan will lead The Order, as previously announced. The roles of the newly added cast members are yet to be disclosed.

The film is based on The Silent Brotherhood, a book by Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt that chronicles the titular white supremacist domestic terror group, and its escalating crimes. Set in 1983 the film will portray the series of increasingly violent bank robberies, counterfeiting operations and armoured car heights that frightened communities throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Stationed in the lazy, picturesque town of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, a lone FBI Agent (Law), came to realise the crimes were not the work of traditional, financially motivated criminals, but a group of dangerous domestic terrorists, inspired by a radical, charismatic leader (Hoult). Even as law enforcement agents scramble for answers,  the terrorist group plot a devastating war against the federal government of the United States.

Zach Baylin, an Oscar nominee, has adapted the screenplay for The Order. AGC Studios is to fully finance the project and produce with Chasing Epic Pictures and Raff Entertainment.
