Christina Hendricks to lead psychological thriller Reckoner

The film is based on an American author Rachel Ingalls' short story

Good Girls and Mad Men fame Christina Hendricks has boarded the cast of the upcoming psychological thriller Reckoner, to play the lead in the film. Nissar Modi will write and direct the film, marking his feature directorial debut. 

Reckoner will portray a young man, who is connected to an affluent woman's tightly-held secret from her past, disrupting her carefully constructed life. Based on an American author Rachel Ingalls' short story, Reckoner will be produced by XYZ Films and Two & Two Pictures. 

Apart from her stint in Mad Men and Good Girls, Hendricks has also headlined features such as Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive and The Neon Demon. Next, she will appear in The Buccaneers, an Apple+ series. Nissar Modi, on the other hand, has previously been the screenwriter of Z for Zachariah and Breaking at the Edge
