Ryan Murphy and Netflix are currently developing a follow-up series to their successful series Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, which was based on the prolific serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. The upcoming series will focus on the convicted killers: Erik & Lyle Menendez.

The brothers were convicted in 1996 of murdering their parents. With exclusive rights to content related to Menendez, Ryan Murphy is also expected to develop a documentary feature about the Menendez brothers.

While the brothers argued that they murdered their father in defense after fearing he would kill them first for trying to expose him for years of physical and mental abuse, the persecution was able to prove that they did it to inherit their father’s multi-million dollar fortune.

Titled Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, the series is currently expected to stream on Netflix in 2024.
