Actors Sam Heughan, and Eleanor Tomlinson will star in the upcoming psychological thriller series The Couple Next Door which has been green lit by Starz and Channel 4. The series has gone on floors in United Kingdom's Leeds and Belguim and will consist of six parts.

Others part of the cast include Jessica De Gouw and Alfred Enoch.

An adaptation of Dutch series New Neighbours, the series follows Evie and Pete who relocate to a posh neighbourhood, as they become friends with a couple. But the situation turns upside down when the Evie becomes intimate with her neighbour, and her past traumas begin to haunt her.

“Evie is an exciting challenge for me - a girl whose world is turned upside down as she navigates devastating trauma, which isn’t helped by unresolved issues from her past," said  Eleanor.

Written by David Allison and helmed by Dries Vos, the series is yet to get a release date.
