Chris Pine reacts to The Princess Diaries 3

We had earlier reported that there are probabilities of a third installment of The Princess Diaries. Actor Chris Pine, who has played the role of Lord Nicholas Deveraux in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, reacted to the news.

“Yeah, I'm here! I'm here for it. Give me... give me a phone call or an email,” Chris said, who recently walked the red carpet at the premiere of his upcoming action-adventure comedy, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

In the 2004 The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, Chris Pine played Lord Nicholas who was paired opposite Anne Hathaway. The latter played the titular role of Princess of Geneva Mia Thermopolis.

Anne had earlier told that the third part is still in development and will take time for the project to fruitate.

The Princess Diaries was directed by the late Garry Marshall and is based on Meg Cabot's book by the same name. It is about an awkward American teenager Mia Thermopolis who suddenly discovers her royal heritage and is declared the heir of the fictional country Genovia. The first and second parts were released in 2001 and 2004 respectively.
