In a recent interview with Brandon Pope, Laurence Fishburne revealed that he would be reprising his role as Bill Foster in the upcoming second season of What If...? on Disney+. Bill Foster is a genius scientist and a former student of Michael Douglas's character, Hank Pym, who was introduced in the 2018 film Ant-Man and the Wasp

In 2021, What If...? was introduced as an animated series, offering Marvel Cinematic Universe fans one of their first opportunities to explore the multiverse. The anthology show features the Watcher (Jeffrey Wright), who presents viewers with various alternate realities that have emerged following the events of the first season of Loki.

Initially, the introduction of variants in the show involved minor alterations, such as Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) receiving the Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans). However, the series progressed to the point of featuring a version of Ultron who has conquered the universe through the use of the Infinity Stones.

There is no release date for What If...? season 2 yet.
