We had earlier reported that HBO's series Last of Us had recently been renewed for a second after the first season wrapped. Bella Ramsey, who plays Ellie in the series, stated that a second season of the series probably will arrive in  2025. 

According to The Independent, Bella Ramsey recently appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show in the UK and said, "I think we'll probably shoot (Last of Us) at the end of this year, beginning of next. So it'll probably be at the end of 2024, early 2025."

Last of Us is a 2013 video game developed by Naughty Dog, and HBO has adapted it as a series. The series' second season will be based on the sequel of the video game.

Created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, The Last of Us is post-apocalyptic adventure series that follows a smuggler escorting a teenager through a post-apocalyptic wasteland. 

The series stars Pedro Pascal and Ella Ramsey as the leads. The series also features Gabriel Luna, Merle Dandridge, Anna Torv, Nick Offerman, Murray Bartlett, Nico Parker, and Storm Reid in important roles.
