Jharrel Jerome to star as a wrestler in Unstoppable

Emmy award-winning actor Jharrel Jerome will star as a wrestler alongside Jennifer Lopez in the upcoming film Unstoppable. He is best known for appearing in the Oscar-winning film Moonlight. He will reportedly essay the role of real-life wrestler Anthony Robles in the film. 

Unstoppable revolves around the true story of wrestler Antony Robles. Born with one leg, Robles went on to win a national championship at Arizona State and was also a three-time All-American wrestler. The film is being made by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s new production venture Artists Equity. The company will be making its debut feature titled Air, which tells the story of how Nike signed a record deal with Michael Jordan when he was just rookie.

While Amazon Studios will be releasing Air, marking their first ever theatrical release, they are also in talks to acquire rights for Unstoppable. According to reports Anthony Robles is heavily involved with the production of the film.
