Oscars 2023: Kamal Haasan wishes team RRR and The Elephant Whisperers for the big win

Actor-politician Kamal Haasan extended his wishes to the Indian winners at the Oscars. RRR's Naatu Naatu won the Oscar Award under the Best Original Song category. Taking to Twitter, the actor wrote, "The song that made the country dance has received the highest global recognition. I am proud of your achievement as an Indian and a fellow artist." He conveyed his heartiest wishes to music composer MM Keeravaani, director SS Rajamouli and team RRR

He also wished the team of The Elephant Whisperers for bagging the Award for Best Documentary Short. He wrote, "The Elephant Whisperers, which portrays the emotions of a couple caring for elephants in Mudumalai camp, winning an Oscar under the Best Documentary short category is an honour." He congratulated director Kartiki Gonsalves and producer Guneet Monga for creating a great achievement in the history of Indian documentary films.
