The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse has won the best animated short film at the 95th Academy Awards. It was nominated against other titles like My year of Dicks, Ice Merchant, The Flying Sailor, and An Ostrich Told Me The World is Fake And I Think I Believe It.

The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, and The Horse is directed by Peter Baynton and Charlie Mackesy based on a script written by Jon Croker and Mackesy. The film is an adaptation of the illustrated graphic novel of the same name by Charlie Mackesy. 

The titular characters in the film are voiced by Jude Coward Nicoll, Gabriel Byrne, Idris Elba and Tom Hollander. The film is produced by director JJ Abrams and actor Woody Harrelson along with Matthew Freud, Jony Ive, and Cara Speller. The film had also won the same award at the 76th BAFTA Awards.
