Kit Connor, best known for Netflix's romantic comedy-drama series Heartstopper, has been cast as the lead in the mystery-horror One Of Us. 

According to Deadline, the mystical film will be focused on the youngest son (Kit Connor) in a family, who is in search of the reason why his family members died one by one at a funeral. The film will go on floors later this month. 

One Of Us will be written and directed by debutant Stefan van de Graaf. Raquel Baldwin will produce the film, and Robert Machoian will be co-producing. The film will also star Callum Woodhouse, Charlotte Hope, Siobhan Fallon-Hogan and Ian Beattie. 

Kit Connor has greatly appreciated his portrayal of Nick Nelson, who falls for his classmate Charlie Spring in Heartstopper. Connor received the Outstanding Lead Performance prize at the inaugural Children's and Family Emmys for his performance in the series. His other acting credits include Rocketman, His Dark Materials, Little Joe, and Rocketman.
