Dumb Money to release in October

Dumb Money, the upcoming film, based on the bestselling author Ben Mezrich’s book The Antisocial Network, is set to hit the theatres on October 20.

The cast of the film Paul Dano, Seth Rogen, Sebastian Stan, Pete Davidson, Shailene Woodley, Dane DeHaan, Vincent D’Onofrio, Anthony Ramos, America Ferrera, Myah’la Herrold, Nick Offerman, and Talia Ryder. However the details on their roles are kept under wraps.

The film tells the real life story of about a group of amateur investors and Reddit users combine forces to bring down one of the biggest hedge funds of Wall Street.

Helmed by filmmaker Craig Gillespie who is known for films like Cruella, I Tonya, the script is penned by Rebecca Angelo and Lauren Schuker Blum. Aaron Ryder, Teddy Schwarzman, and Craig will serve as executive producers of Dumb Money, along with Michael Heimler, John Friedberg, Andrew Swett, Angelo, Blum, Mezrich, Johnny Holland, Tyler Winklevoss, Cameron Winklevoss, and Kevin Ulrich.
