Phil Dunster and Suki Waterhouse have been cast in season 2 of the Apple TV+ series Surface. The series has Gugu Mbatha-Raw as the main lead. Veronica West created the psychological thriller for Apple TV+. The first season of the series premiered on July 29, 2022. 

Surface talks about the life of Sophie, who suffers from amnesia after attempting suicide by jumping into the ocean from a boat. The series explores her reasons for the suicide and why she decided to jump. 

Phil Dunster is best known for playing the role of Jamie Tartt in Apple Tv+'s Ted Lasso. The actors' other feature credits include Strike Back (2017–2018), Humans (2018), The Trouble with Maggie Cole, and Amazon Prime thriller The Devil's Hour, among others. 

Suki Waterhouse debuted with a minor role in the film 2012 Pusher. The actor's other prominent features include The Divergent Series: Insurgent, The Bad Batch, and Assassination Nation.
