Mare of Easttown creator Brad Ingelsby is creating and developing a drama thriller titled, Echo Valley at Apple Studios. Oscar-winning actor Julianne Moore and Euphoria fame Sydney Sweeney are all set to star in the film as a mother-daughter duo. While the former will play Kate Garett, the latter will play Claire Garrett.
Echo Valley is set on the titular Echo Valley farm where Kate leads a calm and peaceful life. She boards and trains horses on her farm, while also healing from a personal tragedy. Her life is turned upside down, when one night, her daughter Claire knocks herm door frightened, and covered in someone else's blood. The official synopsis further reveals that "Echo Valley becomes a heart-pounding thriller about just how far a mother will go to save her child."
Apple Studios is producing Echo Valley in collaboration with Scott Free Films and The Walsh Company. The creator Ingelsby will also produce along with Michael Pruss, with whom she collaborated on the original story. The drama thriller is being directed by BAFTA Award-winner Michael Pearce.
Filming for Echo Valley is scheduled to begin this summer.
