Petty Jenkin and Kevin Feige's Star Wars films have been shelved. According to Variety, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, which is meant to be directed by Wonder Women helmer Patty Jenkins, was put on hold in the Lucas films. Another project shelved in the studio is Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige’s Star Wars film.

In December 2020, Lucas chief Kathleen Kennedy announced the news of Patty Jenkin's project. But in September 2022, the film was absent from Disney's release schedule of December 2023. The studio has not revealed anything about the future of the project.

On the other hand, Kevin Feige's project was on track till May 2022. The screenwriter Michael Waldron, who penned Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, disclosed news of being a Star Wars film writer for Kevin Feige. But on October  2022, Feige hired  Waldron for  MCU's 2026’s Avengers: Secret Wars. This hints that Kevin Feige's project will be uncertain.
