Netflix released the teaser of its upcoming limited series Florida Man, which will premiere on the streaming platform on April 13.

Backed by Jason Bateman's Aggregate Films, the series is about Mike Valentine from Florida who is a recuperating gambling addict. As he is sent by his boss to search for his missing girlfriend Delly in Florida, trouble brews for Mike. The series is created and show-run by Donald Todd.

"As I grew up, I never stopped thinking about why Florida is Florida. Florida is a thin layer of porous crust on top of a hundred feet of water, and it’s maybe a few feet above sea level… it might all sink. So when you feel that everything is temporary, you take what you can when you can get it. A ‘Florida man’ is someone who’s proudly independent and doesn’t live by your code, which means he doesn’t live by any code," he said in a statement.

The series will consist of seven episodes and also features Otmara Marrero, Anthony LaPaglia, Abbey Lee, Lex Scott Davis, Emory Cohen, Clark Gregg, Isaiah Johnson, Paul Schneider, and Lauren Buglioli.
