Jack Kesy to star in Hellboy reboot film The Crooked Man

Brian Taylor will direct the film with a script penned by Hellboy comic book creator Mike Mignola along with Chris Golden

Actor Jack Kesy, best known for playing Black Tom in Deadpool 2, will play Hellboy in the reboot film Hellboy: The Crooked Man. Brian Taylor will direct the film with a script penned by Hellboy comic book creator Mike Mignola along with Chris Golden.

The film will showcase a stranded Hellboy in 1950 Appalachia with a rookie BPRD agent. From there, they discover a community haunted by witches led by a local devil with a troubling connection to Hellboy's past. 

The film will be a Millennium Media presentation in association with Dark Horse Entertainment. Hellboy: The Crooked Man will be the first film in Millennium's development slate with German film and TV distributor, Telepool. 

Meanwhile, Jack Kesy is currently working on the Lionsgate feature Dark Web: Cicadia 3301. His other feature credits include, Without Remorse, The Outpost, Blood Brother and Hot Summer Nights, among others. The actor has a few television credits, including Deputy, Claws and  The Strain.
