Brooke Shields, Miranda Cosgrove and Benjamin Bratt to star in Mother of the Bride

Actors Brooke Shields, Miranda Cosgrove and Benjamin Bratt will star in the upcoming Netflix film titled Mother of the Bride. Directed by Mark Waters, who is known for helming He's All That and Mean Girls, the upcoming romantic comedy will be produced by Brad Krevoy. 

According to the makers, the film's logline reads, "When Lana's daughter Emma returns from a year abroad in London, she drops a bombshell on her mother: she's getting married. On an island. Next month! Things only get worse when Lana discovers that the mystery man who stole her daughter's heart just so happens to be the son of the man who broke hers years ago."

While Shields is known for her performance in Pretty Baby and A Castle for Christmas, Miranda Cosgrove was seen in iCarly and Despicable Me and Benjamin Bratt in Poker Face and Dead for a Dollar Coco. The film will be executive produced by Amanda Phillips, Robin Bernheim, Jimmy Townsend and Galen Fletcher.
