The fourth season of the DC animated series Harley Quinn finally gets a release date. The adult animated series is now all set to return with a new season on July 27. While the makers have not confirmed it yet, the new season will release new episodes every week.

The previous season ended by showing Harley entering into a romantic relationship with the popular Batman villain Poison Ivy. The last season also showed Batgirl becoming the head of the new Bat-family after Bruce Wayne gets arrested for tax evasion. Showrunner Justin Halpern revealed that Batgirl will have a prominent role in the upcoming season.

The series made its debut in 2019 and became a critical and commercial success. The character of Harley Quinn was originally created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm for their animated series Batman: The Animated Series. 

The DC's animated lineup is all set to have new shows like Harley Quinn's Kite Man spinoff and DCU's Creature Commandos.
