Mark Ruffalo joins hands with Brad Ingelsby for a HBO series

Brad Ingelsby, creator of Mare of Easttown, is set to do a limited series for HBO. Mark Ruffalo is set to star in the series, which he will also executive produce. The series is set to revolve around a set of criminals that a law enforcement task force is trying to apprehend.   

Emmy-winning actor Ruffalo has previously been a part of HBO's I Know This Much Is True as well as The Normal Heart. For the latter, the actor also received an Emmy nomination. On the other hand, Ingelsby's Mare of Easttown was made for HBO and won four Emmy awards. 

The producer of Mare of Easttown, Independent studio Wiip will produce the new series as well. Jeremiah Zagar is set to direct the series. 

Speaking about the untitled limited series, Francesca Orsi, executive VP of programming and head of HBO drama series and films said, "We are absolutely thrilled to once again join forces with Brad Ingelsby, the brilliant auteur behind Mare of Easttown.  When the opportunity arose to partner with Mark on another series, we all jumped at the chance to witness him once again breathe great humanity into a new role. We are also honoured to collaborate with Jeremiah, an unparalleled director whose deep understanding of visual storytelling will only elevate this project to new heights." 

The makers have not revealed a start date for production yet.
