Director John Carpenter who has helmed horror films like Halloween, The Thing, They Live, will be returning back to the genre with upcoming horror series Suburban Screams. The director made the announcement in a recent event he attended at Texas.

As per a Collider report, he was quoted as saying, "I just finished directing, remotely, a TV series called Suburban Screams – John Carpenter’s Suburban Screams." The director also added that it was shot in Prague.

The plot details, cast and crew list of the series are yet to be unveiled. A release date for the series has not been announced. It is to be noted that Suburban Screams will mark the director's comeback after five years. He last helmed episodes from the TV series Masters of Horror that ran between 2005 and 2006.
