Following the first trailer's release, 20th Century Studios dropped a new trailer of the upcoming sci-fi thriller The Creator on Monday. Written, directed and produced by Gareth Edwards, The Creator is headlined by John David Washington, and the film will hit the theatres on September 29. 

The premise of the film read as, " Amid a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence, Joshua, played by John David Washington, a hardened ex-special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife, is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war—and humankind itself."

The Creator features an ensemble cast including Gemma Chan, Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, Allison Janney, and Madeleine Yuna Voyles.

The film has a script written by Gareth Edwards along with Chris Weitz. Kiri Hart, Jim Spencer, and Arnon Milchan are co-producing the film with Gareth Edwards.
