Actor Brad Pitt, who is currently working in a film about Formula One racing, opened up about the film and plot details in a recent interview.

With the filming taking place in the British Grand Pix, the film is reportedly titled Apex. However an official confirmation is yet to be made.

Speaking to Sky Sport, Brad was quoted as saying, "The vibe is amazing, to get to be part of it and tell our story. The teams have opened their doors to us. I play a guy who raced in the 1990s who has a horrible crash and disappears, to race in other disciplines. His friend, played by Javier Bardem, the team owner, contacts him. They're last in the grid, they haven't scored a point. But they have a young phenom, played by Damson Idris, and they bring me in as kind of a hail mary. You've never seen speed, you've never seen the G-forces like this, the footage is really, really exciting.”

The film features Brad as a former racer who is currently retired but has to come out to race again. Produced by Apple Studio, the film is helmed by Joseph Kosinski and will have screenplay by Ehren Kruger. Damson Idris is also part of the cast along with Tobias Menzies, Javier Bardem among others.
