Actor Aaron Paul has been collaborating with musician turned filmmaker Flying Lotus( Steven Ellison) for an upcoming sci-fi thriller titled Ash. The film also stars  Eiza González in a prominent role. 

Even though further things about the film are yet to be revealed, it has been reported that Eiza González will play the role of an astronaut who is stranded alone in a space station while Aaron Paul essays the character who is assigned to rescue her. 

Penned by Jonni Remmler, Ash marks the sophomore directorial of Flying Lotus, who previously helmed an episode, Ozzy's Dungeon, in the horror anthology  V/H/S/99. 

Initially, Ash was announced with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tessa Thompson in the lead roles. However, they were later replaced by Paul and González. The film is yet to get a release date.
