Brad Pitt's Formula One film titled Apex

We had earlier reported that actor Brad Pitt will be starring in a film about Formula One racing. Reports now suggest that the film is titled Apex.

The filming is set to take place soon in British Grand Pix.

Apex is produced by Apple and will star Brad as a former driver who will make a comeback to the racing sport. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, it will have screenplay by Ehren Kruger. While Damson Idris will play Brad's younger version, the cast will also include actor Tobias Menzies who played the role of Prince Philip in The Crown series.

Jerry Bruckheimer will serve as the producer. Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time Formula One champion will also back the project under Dawn Apollo Films banner.

A release date is yet to be announced.
