Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse becomes highest-grossing animated film of all time in India

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the sequel to the 2018's animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has become the highest-grossing animated film of all time in India, collecting Rs 53.20 cr in less than 5 weeks.

Another milestone is that the film has also become the 3rd highest-grossing Hollywood Studio film for the year, beating many live-action superhero films. The film has grossed $607 million worldwide so far.

Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K ThompsonSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is penned by Phil Lord with Christopher Miller and David Callaham. The film features an ensemble voice cast, including Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Karan Soni, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, and Oscar Isaac.
