Thunderbolts will serve as Black Widow's official Sequel

A Marvel Studios executive confirmed that Thunderbolts will act as a sequel to 2021's Scarlett Johansson-led Black Widow

While promoting a new book, The Art of Black Widow, Marvel Studios’ director of visual development Andy Park has revealed that Thunderbolts will be “like a Black Widow sequel'. It may be noted that a solo film with Yelena's return.

"Here is the back cover portion for the wraparound cover I got to illustrate for The Art Of Black Widow! Get your copy today! Taskmaster, the Red Guardian, Yelena and  Valentina Allegra de Fontaine will be returning in the upcoming Thunderbolts film. It’s like it’s a Black Widow sequel & these movies are connected or something. It is gonna get interesting" taking to the Instagram Andy Park wrote. 

Thunderbolts will release in theatres on July 26, 2024. Marvel is yet to give new information about the Thunderbolts' film
