Daisy Ridley to begin filming for Magpie soon

Magpie, actor Daisy Ridley's upcoming film, is set to go on floors soon. In an exclusive interview with Collider, the actor informed that she will begin filming for Magpie the Monday after she leaves Park City. 

Written by Ridley's husband Tom Bateman, the story is based on the concept she conceived. According to reports, the film follows the story of a husband and wife. The husband falls in love with an actress on film sets while accompanying their daughter. Ridley revealed that she will be playing the role of the wife/mother. Directed by Sam Yates, Magpie is produced by Ridley and Bateman of Werewolf Films and Kate Solomon of 55 Films.

Ridley is best known for playing Rey in the Star Wars movies, The Force Awakens (2015), The Last Jedi (2017), and The Rise of Skywalker (2019). Her upcoming films include the psychological thriller The Marsh King's Daughter and the biographical drama Young Woman and the Sea.
