Earlier, it was reported that filmmaker Jon Watts, known for directing a few Spider-Man films, is working on a non-Marvel project starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt. The film's production began in 2021.

The latest update is that the project is advancing and has got another actor to its cast, Amy Ryan, Deadline reported. Billed as a mystery thriller, the film is reportedly said to revolve around two lone-wolf fixers who meet at a point when they are assigned to the same job. The film's rights were acquired by Apple TV+. The untitled film is produced by Clooney and Pitt with Grant Heslov and Dianne McGunigle.

Meanwhile, the Academy Award-nominated actor Ryan is known for her work in Gone Baby Gone, Birdman, Bridge of Spies, Beautiful Boy, Lost Girls, Changeling, and Jack Goes Boating. She will be next seen in the comedy horror Beau Is Afraid.
