Allison Williams and Riz Ahmed to host 95th Oscar nominations

With just a few days left for the much-anticipated announcement of Oscar nominations, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed that Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams will host the event on January 24. 

It may be noted that Ahmed won the Oscars for The Long Goodbye under the Best Live-Action Short Film category. On the other hand, Allison Williams is known for playing Gemma in the horror thriller film M3gan. She also starred in Jordan Peele’s Oscar-winning film Get Out.

The nominees will be announced live from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater. The event will have live streaming through Goodmorningamerica.com, ABC News Live, Disney+, Oscars.org, Oscar.com and the Academy’s social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

Earlier, the academy awards announced a list of 301 films, including Everything Everywhere All At OnceThe Banshees of Inshirin, The Fabelmans, Avatar: The Way of Water, Top Gun: Maverick and Elvis, among others, eligible for the 2023 Best Picture category. Meanwhile, the 95th Academy Awards will be held on March 12. It will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
