Stranger Things actor Sadie Sink, who has been receiving acclamation for her performance in The Whale, has signed up for another film with Searchlight productions. Directed by Geremy Jasper, the film is a post-apocalyptic rock opera titled O'Dessa.

O'Dessa will star Sadie as a farm girl in a post-apocalyptic future who leaves her home to recover a cherished family heirloom. On her journey, she explores a bizarre and deadly city, and finds true love - but must save her lover's soul with the power of destiny and song.

The film’s production is expected to begin in Croatia in May before Sadie begins filming for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things later in the year. It is to be noted that she received a Critics Choice Award nomination for her performance in The Whale

On the work front, Sadie is already filming for Berlin Nobody, a thriller, written and directed by British filmmaker Jordan Scott.
