China has lifted its unofficial ban on Marvel titles. Hence, the two major superhero films--Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania--are gearing up to hit the theatres in China.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, released everywhere else in the world last November, will open in China on February 7.  After that, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will release on February 17. It may be noted that the sequel releases in the US and the UK on the same day.

The last screened Marvel films were Avengers: Endgame in 2019 and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Interestingly, in the past, Marvel films have enjoyed positive and wider reception from audiences in China. While Black Panther grossed $150 million, Ant-Man and the Wasp earned $121 million in the country.
