The spinoff sequel of The Good Doctor which is titled, The Good Lawyer, will feature actors Kennedy McMann and Felicity Huffman. The actors will be having a superior-subordinate relationship, similar to that of the characters Shaun Murphy and Aaron Glassman shared in The Good Doctor.

In the upcoming episode of The Good Lawyer, Dr Murphy will select a lawyer Joni McGroot which will be played by McMann, for him to win the case.

 The pilot of The Good Lawyer will air along with the sixth season of The Good Doctor. It will premiere on March 6. The Good Doctor is show run by David Shore and Liz Friedman.
