Actor Riz Ahmed and Lily James are set to star in the upcoming thriller titled Relay. Helmed by Hell or High Water filmmaker David MacKenzie, the details of the plot is kept under the wraps.

According to reports, Riz will play a fixer between corrupt corporations and individuals, who keeps his identity anonymous. One day, he gets a call from Lily, who asks help to keep her alive. The film is set to go on floors in April in New York and New Jersey.

Justin Piasecki and MacKensie will write the screenplay of the project backed by Basil Iwanyk under Thunder Road Films banner,  Gillian Berrie and MacKenzie for Sigma Films and Teddy Schwarzman for Black Bear. Executive producers of the film are Michael Heimler, John Friedberg, Erica Lee, and Charlie Morrison.

A release date for Relay is yet to be announced.
