Apple TV+ The Big Door Prize to premiere on this date 

The ten-episode series will run for about 30 minutes each

Apple TV+ comedy series The Big Door Prize by Emmy Award winner David West Read is set to debut on the streaming platform on March 29 with its first three episodes. The next seven will be released every Wednesday, on a weekly basis, the platform announced.

Each episode will run for about 30 minutes and stars Chris O’Dowd in the lead role. Others part of the cast include Gabrielle Dennis, Ally Maki, Josh Segarra, Damon Gupton, Crystal Fox, Djouliet Amara and Sammy Fourlas.

The series is based on MO Walsh's novel by the same name and is set against the backdrop of a small town. One day, a mysterious machine found in a store, promises to reveal each one's true potential. The series revolves around high school teacher Dusty Hubbard who has double thoughts on the machine as his wife participates with the machine's results to become something bigger.

Backed by Skydance Television and CJ ENM/Studio Dragon, The Big Door Prize will also have David as the executive producer and showrunner. It will be helmed by Anu Valia, Molly McGlynn, Todd Biermann, Jenée LaMarque and Declan Lowney.
