Love and Death is based on the story of Texas housewife Candy Montgomery,who murdered her friend from church, Betty Gore, with an axe in 1980

HBO Max released the first trailer for the upcoming limited series Love and Death on Thursday. The seven-episode series premieres on HBO Max on April 27 with its first three episodes. New episodes will release weekly through May 25.

Love and Death is based on the story of Texas housewife Candy Montgomery, who murdered her friend from church, Betty Gore, with an axe in 1980. Jesse Plemons and Lily Rabe essay the role of Allan Gore and Betty Gore, respectively, while Elizabeth Olsen portrays Betty's murderer Candy Montgomery. The series will also feature actor Patrick Fugit, who will play Candy's husband, Pat Montgomery.

The trailer showcases the mundane life of Candy Montgomery over a voice-over and the life-changing incidents in Montgomery's life in a fastly paced montage.

Love and Death is Created by David E. Kelley. Other than the main cast, Love and Death features Krysten Ritter, Tom Pelphrey, Keir Gilchrist and Elizabeth Marvel.
