Matthew McConaughey to voice Elvis in Netflix animated series

The series is the first adult animated show to hail from Sony Pictures Animation, the studio behind Into the Spider-Verse.

Academy Award-winner Matthew McConaughey will be lending his voice to Elvis Presley in Netflix’s upcoming adult animated action-comedy series Agent Elvis. The series is set to premiere in March. McConaughey will also serve as the executive producer of the series. 

The series follows Elvis’ life as an undercover spy working for the US government while he continues to lead as the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. 

Created by Elvis’ wife Priscilla Presley along with John Eddie, Agent Elvis comes from Sony Pictures Animation, Sony Pictures TV and Authentic Brands Group. Archer veteran Mike Arnold will write and serve as showrunner and head writer. Eddie will also serve as co-showrunner and writer.
