Matthew Macfadyen to star in Holland, Michigan

Mathew Macfadyen, who got wide recognition for his portrayal of Tom Wambsgans in HBO's Succession, joins the cast of the upcoming thriller film Holland, Michigan

The Prime Video film will be directed by Mimi Cave, and is penned by Andrew Sodroski. Holland, Michigan, is said to be a Hitchcock-style thriller. The other names in the cast include Nicole Kidman and Gael Garcia Bernal. 

Mathew Macfadyen has won Emmy and BAFTA awards for his performance in Succession, which returns for its fourth season on March 26. He also gained prominence for his role as Mr Darcy in Joe Wright's Pride & Prejudice (2005).

Macfadyen's other major feature credits include Death at a Funeral (2007), Frost/Nixon (2008), Anna Karenina (2012), The Assistant (2019), and Operation Mincemeat (2021). He made his television debut in 1998 as Hareton Earnshaw in Wuthering Heights. His other television credits include Spooks (2002–04, 2011), Ripper Street (2012–2016). Howards End and  Quiz (2020).
