Owen Wilson's comedy Paint gets new release date

Written and directed by Brit McAdams the comedy will follow Wilson's character, Carl Nargle

Owen Wilson- starrer Paint is to be released in theatres on April 7. The release plans have been reworked, and the film is set to come three weeks ahead of schedule. 

Written and directed by Brit McAdams, the comedy will follow Wilson's character, Carl Nargle, a popular TV host and painter who is living his best days as Vermont's number one public TV painter. But the station eventually hires a younger, better painter who steals everything and everyone Carl loves.

Apart from Wilson, the film features Michaela Watkins, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ciara Renée, Lusia Strus, and Stephen Root.

Sam Maydew of Silver Lining Entertainment is producing with Peter Brant, and Wilson is serving as executive producer alongside Richard J Bosner and Joel David Moore.
