La Brea renewed for third season on NBC 

Created by David Applebaum, the series stars Natalie Zea and Eoin Macken in lead roles

NBC's sci-fi drama La Brea has been renewed for a third season. The series' renewal comes simultaneously with the release of the second part of its 14-episode second season.  

Created and show run by David Applebaum, La Brea stars Natalie Zea and Eoin Macken as a couple separated after a massive sinkhole opens at the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles. It results in transporting Zea and her son to the primaeval world. 

The series also stars Jon Seda, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chiké Okonkwo, Zyra Gorecki, Veronica St. Clair, Rohan Mirchandaney, Lily Santiago, Josh McKenzie, Tonantzin Carmelo and Michelle Vergara Moore.

David Applebaum, Avi Nir, Alon Shtruzman, Peter Traugott, Rachel Kaplan, Chris Hollier, Adam Davidson, Bryan Wynbrandt, Steven Lilien, Ken Woodruff and Arika Lisanne Mittman are the executive producers of La Brea.
