Adam McKay to helm another project, Netflix cancels Average Height, Average Build

CE Features

Earlier, we had reported that filmmaker Adam McKay and Netflix would join forces for an upcoming film titled Average Height, Average Build, following the duo's previous collaboration Don't Look Up in 2021. However, it has now been learned that McKay will not be directing the film as he is currently working on a project about climate issues. At present, no other directors have been announced for Average Height, Average Build.

If the film had gone on floors, it would've starred Robert Pattinson, Amy Adams, Robert Downey Jr., Forest Whitaker and Danielle Deadwyler.

The film, which was also penned by McKay, revolved around a serial killer who becomes a politician so he can enter the office and manipulate legislation to become more murder-friendly. Pattinson will play the serial killer in the film while Downey Jr will play a retired police officer who is hell-bent on capturing the killer.
