It's a wrap for Beetlejuice 2

Tim Burton took to his Instagram recently, to announce the shooting wrap of the upcoming Beetlejuice 2. The film marks the reunion of filmmaker Tim Burton and actors Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder, after their stint together in the 1988 original supernatural comedy. 

Monica Belluci will be seen playing the role of Beetlejuice's wife. Additionally, Wednesday-fame Jenna Ortega is also a part of the cast, and she will be seen as Ryder’s daughter.  Justin Theroux and Catherine O'Hara will also be seen in the sequel. 

The original Beetlejuice also starred Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Jeffrey Jordan, and Catherine O'Hara among others. The plot details of Beetlejuice 2 are kept under wraps by the makers. However, it is known that the film will be a direct sequel to Burton's 1988 original Beetlejuice

The film is making its way to the theatres on September 6, 2024.
