Denise Gough, Holliday Grainger cast in Playdate series

We had earlier reported that psychological thriller drama series based on Alex Dahl's novel Playdate is at works at Disney+. The new update is that actors Denise Gough, Holliday Grainger will be starring in the film.

The series will also star Indian-origin British actor Ambika Mod along with Jim Sturgess, Bronagh Waugh, and Michael Workeye. Playdate revolves around Elsie whose life turns upside down after Lucia is kidnapped at a sleepover. The series is currently in production phase in the UK and France.

With Eva Husson directing the show, Catherine Moulton has adapted the screenplay from Dahl's novel. James Dean is the producer of the project with Dahl, Moulton and Husson serving as executive producers alongside Nicola Shindler, Tanya Seghatchian, John Woodward and Johanna Devereaux.
